His tenure as Managing Director and COO of BISRA (formerly Kehrer-LIMRA) allowed him to delve into performance research and consulting. Scott’s recent years have been dedicated to running a successful financial services research and best practices consulting company, positioning him as a thought leader in productivity and distribution strategies.

David’s career is a testament to forward-thinking and transformative leadership. Starting as a financial advisor armed with his CFP in the 1980s, he quickly distinguished himself when working with clients by integrating financial planning with managed advisory services, well before the approach became mainstream. Rising to Head of Advanced FA Development for Shearson Lehman Brothers, David pioneered some of the first practice management and team training on Wall Street. Then in senior roles that included National Sales Director of Private Client Services at Wells Fargo Private Bank and CEO of First Citizens Bank’s broker-dealer, David continued his influence that has helped reshaped the industry. David’s somewhat unique commitment to continuous learning is evident with a recent MSc in Leadership and Executive Coaching and, through his certifications as a Certified Professional Coach and AQai Adaptability Consultant, which he leverages to help leaders and organizations navigate the omnipresent challenge of change.
