When two financial services industry veterans walk into a room, you might expect long conversations about better recruiting approaches, using wealth protection tools, or how to get FAs to do more financial planning. But when Scott Stathis and I came together, we had something different in mind. Over a few cups of coffee (okay, maybe a couple of old fashions), we realized we were craving more than just another firm cranking out boilerplate solutions that have bounced around for years and, quite frankly, not worked. We wanted to build something that breaks the mold—a consulting firm tailored to today’s leaders and organization by taking on the challenges we all face and developing tailored solutions that create tomorrow’s opportunities.

Adaptus Group isn’t just a meeting of the minds; it’s a fusion of perspectives, a blend of experiences, and a shared vision of what consulting should be. Between Scott and me, we’ve clocked more years in the financial services industry than we’d care to admit. We’ve seen firms come and go, watched the industry work to reinvent how things are done, and lived through our fair share of watching experts try to forecast the future only to see things arrive where many weren’t prepared. Yet, what keeps us going is the realization that there’s always a fresh way to take an old problem apart and that innovation doesn’t have an expiration date.
